The best face contest

It was the popular yearly cultural festival in IIT-Madras. A girl was making her way in the CLT (Central Lecture Theatre) to her seat. She had to get past my friend, a big tall guy cramped in one of these chairs. She paused in front of him. He was trying to cram himself, such that she could get past him without brushing past him. She looked at him. Then said, "Hey, relax". And just simply crossed him brushing him.

The next day, my friend was taking photos for the "Best face" contest. He saw this girl. Walked to her.
"Hi, I'm taking photos for the best face contest."
Delighted, she responds: "Oh sure..."
"Can you please introduce me to your friend over there?"

Hearing religious stories, I realized that similar to our Adiyaars like Pattinatthaar, Bogar, Pathurigariyaar, such Adiyaars existed in other lands as well.

Language politics

Equality of opportunity is desirable. Encouraging learning new languages is desirable. Providing facilities to learn multiple languages is desirable. Even more desirable is providing options to learn math, sciences & social studies in one's own language. Indians should emulate Koreans, Chinese, Japanese, Scandinavians & non-English Europeans in their research output in native languages & learn arts/sciences in their own language rather than the language of their colonial masters. Equality of outcome (a communist idea) won't happen without social pressure & a subversion of free will. Monocultures of language & ideology are undesirable.

EVR-black Gods

Per EVR & his cults, the white-skinned Aryans invaded & enslaved the dark-skinned Dravidians. Hence, he & his followers desecrated the Aryan Gods like Pillaiyaar, Rama, Krishna & Vishnu.
But why are the Aryan Gods dark skinned? Rama, Krishna, Vishnu, Kali & Pillaiyaar are all black and objects of handsomeness/beauty & valor. The word Krishna itself means black. The Mahabharatha describes Draupadi as KrishnA, as dark skinned & beautiful.
This is what happens when hatred is built on idiocy.

Alita Damascus steel-Ukku

Alita, Battle Angel refers to a Damascus steel sword. This was pioneered by the Tamils of India, called Ukku (Wootz). The technique is lost & still irreproducible. Arab traveler Edrisi called it the best steel in the world. It became popular & was exported globally, including to Damascus by the Arabs. This introduced previously unknown high carbon metallurgy to Europe & helped develop modern metallurgy. This led to the old Persian phrase: "Indian answer" which means to "cut with an Indian sword".

Places of worship act 1991

In 1991, the Congress led Indian government passed "the places of worship" legislation, which disenfranchised Hindus, Jains & Buddhists of legal rights of all of their 47k demolished temples converted to mosques & churches, except one temple. Ayodhya! The government filed an affidavit to the Supreme Court of India that if the ASI found a temple under the Masjid-I-Janmastan (renamed as Babri Masjid by the British in 1946), the government would grant the entire land to the Hindus.
The ASI (Archaeological Survey of India) excavated a temple in 2003. And then? Nothing.
In the meantime, the government violates its own act, such as demolishing the ancient Puri Mutts for road widening. The Supreme Court of India refuses to hear the pleas.
Thank you Government of India & Supreme Court of India! What justice!

Azerbaijan/Armenia conflict

Azerbaijan initiated a border conflict with Armenia. Armenia, ruled by the communists, considered taking the dispute to the UN. Armenian nationalists cited Nehru's Kashmir UN fiasco to oppose this, grew in popularity and gained power. Nehru is famous! Countries are learning geopolitics from Nehru.

DVK-protest

EVR inspired DVK protests against Ganesha Chaturthi. Also carries a Buddha statue. Buddhists ranging from Thailand to Japan worship Ganesha. Buddhist temples have Ganesha as a deity. The hate-filled ideology of the DVK is matched only by their ignorance.

Communism/fascism-overview

Marxists communists had clashed with the Christian communist socialist Nazis, also called fascists, German nationalists & supremacists. Eventually, the Russian communists would defeat Hitler, with help from the rest of the world.
The communists in media and education would call their opponents: fascists, supremacists & nationalists, associating a negative connotation with these words.
The irony is that communism is the most violent ideology of the last century (think Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot etc) dwarfing the Nazi fascists. Since the communists won and were able to retain power, they were able to propagandize a sanitized narrative of Marxism communism. Even today, people proudly call themselves as communists, in spite of its murderous ideology & history.

Ayodhya-history

The ASI excavation has uncovered the existence of a temple. Mughal court historian Abul Fazl describes Ayodhya vividly as Rama's Janmasthan. William Finch (1611), Jonnes De Laet (1631), Thomas Herbert (1640) describe Ayodhya in detail, and don't mention a mosque. The Kapad Dwar map dated 1717 has only temple spires but no mosque & has the word Janmasthan. The Janmasthan site, though belonging to Hindus, wasn't allowed to be used. Rajput king of Amber, Sawai Jai Singh bought it in 1717 from the Mughals & the Kapad Dwar map records it. The Hindus worshipped in the mosque till 1858, when the British banned entry to Hindus inside the mosque & forced them to worship outside. Until 1946, in official government records, the Ayodhya mosque was called Masjid-I-Janmasthan when it was officially changed by the British to Babri Masjid.

Teachers-feminist satire

<Sarcasm> Growing up, my teachers were mostly women. My kids' teachers are mostly women. The teaching profession is therefore sexist, and discriminates against men. Ignore equal opportunity & individual choices; if there is no equal outcome, this proves discrimination. Hence, steps need to be taken to have equal men teaching as women. To pressure society for equality, reduce hiring standards for men teachers, conduct workshops encouraging men to teach and have affirmative action/reservations for social justice.

VOC-remembrance proposal

To honor Chidambaram Pillai & Subramaniam Siva, how about organizing a yearly event in Thoothukudi, where the PM, CM and other volunteers are yoked to the oil press for some time? Let the oil generated be auctioned & donated to their kin, who gave up a life of luxury & were tortured by the British.

VOC-yoked

Today was when VO Chidambaram Pillai was born. The British had a trade monopoly & prevented the ancient native trading population from trading. VOC challenged it by trading in his own ships. He was imprisoned, his ships & goods impounded. VOC was yoked (in place of bulls) to an oil press (crushing seeds for oil) under the hot sun and forced to generate more oil than the bulls, the same unique British torture also inflicted on Savarkar in Andaman. Why was this torture inflicted on a non-violent VOC? Maybe allowing Indians to trade was what the British truly feared.

The RNC ran a democratic transparent process which threw up their strongest candidate, Trump, who managed to weather tough opposing campaigns. The DNC, by excluding its strongest debate performer of the first two debates (Tulsi) through non-transparent criteria is repeating its rigging mistakes of 2016. Rigging reduces chances of success.

The young Sikh girl in Pakistan who was abducted, forcibly converted (with a video shot) & married off has now been returned. What about the hundreds of young Hindu girls in the same situation, who are not allowed to meet their family again? Why is the Sikh girl's conversion video accepted as fake with the Hindu girls' videos accepted as genuine?

When EVR broke Ganesha murtis, Veerabadran Chettiar filed a lawsuit against EVR. The bench of Bhuvneshwar P Sinha, Syed Jaffer Imam & KN Wanchoo dismissed the case with an Abrahamic colonial interpretation that the Murtis were not sacred!

Ganesha-the form

Ganesha is worshipped as a Brahmachari & as a Grihasta with wives as Siddhi & Buddhi. Representing the first Muladhara Chakra at the base of the spine, which deals with the earthy elements of food & reproduction. Once awakened through Kundalini Yoga, in the physical world, Brahmacharya (celibacy) ensues. And the Grihasta ensues, with the Buddhi (intellect) awakened and Siddhi (mystic powers). Ganesha has a snake around his waist representing the Kundalini Chakra's location. He is fat, representing the food of the Chakra. His human head is replaced with an elephant's; the human base consciousness is replaced with the awakened divine consciousness. The mouse (representing the mind) which constantly scurries is fully under control, and is now a controlled carrier, helping progress towards the truth.

Ganesha is called the Muladhara, which represents the first Chakra that is activated at the base of the spine when the Kundalini Shakthi is awakened. This is the first step towards self realization.

In Tamizh Sampradayam, Ganesha worship is the fastest and easiest way to Shiva Lokha.

Falun Gong communist propaganda

On a tourism trip to Hong Kong almost a decade back, I saw posters of Falun Gong protests near a bus stop when disembarking, alleging illegal arrests, rape, live organ harvesting & torture. On a bus tour, a Westerner asked the tour guide about this. The guide responded: "If you ask me, the Falun Gong are pretty evil. Their founder claims that he was born on the same day as the Buddha & Jesus Christ. Go figure."
Of course, this statement is utterly illogical & ridiculous. But I had heard this before. A Chinese colleague, smart & professionally successful in the USA had told me this exact statement verbatim, when a lunch group conversation veered towards the Falun Gong.
Then, I realized that this was indoctrinated communist propaganda.
